This quarter PICZ ask you to illustrate through your picture the power of the colours.
Be creative and imaginative. Feel free to present any type of work, figurative or abstract that decline your interpretation of this contest theme.
And most importantly be sure to have fun.
Inspiration & ressources
- Ernst Haas: one of the first photographers of the Magnum agency to deviate from the doctrine of black and white, to experiment with color. His poetic images have revolutionised photojournalism, introducing photography into the arena of art.

- Merzbacher Collection, Zurich kunsthaus: this collection gathers an impressive collection of of major European paintings of the 20th century: Impressionism (Monet, Cézanne, Renoir), post-impressionism (Van Gogh, Picasso), Fauvism (Derain, Matisse, Vlaminck, Braque). The collection common theme being the expressive power of color.
